Facility Management
The Facilities tab is superadmin-only. Use it to create, edit, and delete facilities, and to manage each facility's FE whitelist.

Creating a Facility
- Click + New Facility.
- Enter the two required fields:
- Facility Code — the standard VATSIM identifier (e.g.,
ZAB). Auto-uppercased. - Facility Name — the full name (e.g., Albuquerque ARTCC).
- Facility Code — the standard VATSIM identifier (e.g.,

No FE password
Landline no longer uses FE passwords. Access is granted by VATUSA role, the facility's whitelist, or superadmin status. See FE Overview.

Editing a Facility
- Click a facility in the list.
- Update the Code or Name and click Save.
FE Whitelist
When you open a facility, the editor exposes an FE Whitelist section. Any CID listed here gets FE access to that facility, regardless of their VATUSA role.
Adding a CID
- Select the facility.
- Type the CID (numeric) into the whitelist input.
- Click Add.
Removing a CID
Click the remove button next to any CID in the list. The change takes effect on that user's next login.

role=FE on VATUSA (for example, assistants or FEs-in-training) so they don't need to wait for a roster change.
Fun Settings
When editing the facility you're currently loaded into, the editor also shows Fun Settings:
- TMU Imperial March — plays the Imperial March when a TMU position initiates an override.
- Hold Music — plays hold music to the held party during a call hold.
Facility Statistics
Each facility shows live counts of positions, channels, and shout lines, plus a config version that increments on every change. Handy for confirming that a save landed.
Deleting a Facility
- Click the facility in the list.
- Click the Delete link and confirm.
Cascade delete
Deleting a facility permanently removes all of its positions, channels, and shout lines — including bidirectional links mirrored at other facilities. There is no undo.
