Facility Management
The Facilities tab is available only to Superadmins and allows management of all facilities in the system.

Facility List Facility Editor
Facility List
The left sidebar shows all facilities in the system.
List Information

Creating a Facility
- Click + New Facility
- Enter the required fields:
- Facility Code - Unique uppercase code (e.g., ZNY)
- Facility Name - Full facility name
- FE Password - Initial password for FE access
- Click Create

Facility Code Convention
Use standard VATSIM facility codes (e.g., ZNY for New York ARTCC, ZLA for Los Angeles ARTCC). The code is automatically converted to uppercase.

Editing a Facility
- Click the facility in the list
- Modify the Code or Name
- Click Save
Editable Fields
- Facility Code - Can be changed (ensure no conflicts)
- Facility Name - Can be changed freely
Changing FE Password
For existing facilities, you can change the FE password:
- Select the facility
- Scroll to Change FE Password
- Enter the new password
- Click Update Password
A success message confirms when the password is updated.
Facility Statistics
When viewing an existing facility, statistics are displayed:

| Config Version | Internal version number (increments with changes) |
Deleting a Facility
- Click the facility in the list
- Click the Delete link
- Confirm the deletion in the dialog
Cascade Delete Warning
Deleting a facility permanently removes:

- All channels
- All shout lines (including bidirectional links at other facilities)
- All configuration data
This action cannot be undone.
Best Practices
Facility Codes
- Use standard VATSIM facility identifiers
- Keep codes short (3-4 characters preferred)
- Use uppercase letters only
FE Passwords
- Use strong, unique passwords for each facility
- Share passwords only with authorized FEs
- Change passwords periodically
Before Deleting
- Verify no active users are connected
- Back up any important configuration data
- Notify affected FEs beforehand
