- System Default - Uses your operating system's default recording device
- Specific Device - Select a particular microphone from the dropdown
Testing Your Microphone
- Click Test Mic to start the test
- Speak into your microphone

- Click Stop Test when done
The level meter shows:
- Green - Normal levels (0-40%)
- Yellow - Good levels (40-70%)
- Red - Peak levels (70-100%)
Always test your microphone before starting a controlling session to ensure your audio is working properly.
Alert Output (Speaker)
Device used for ring tones, override alerts, and notifications. This is typically your external speakers.
Setting alerts to a separate device allows you to hear incoming calls even while on an active call through your headset.
Call Output (Headset)
Device used for voice audio from active calls. This is typically your headset.
Separating call audio from alerts ensures you hear coordination traffic clearly while alerts come through speakers.
Volume Controls
Adjust the volume for different audio types. All volumes range from 30% to 100%.
| Control | Affects | Range |
|---|---|---|
| Ring Volume | Incoming call tones, dialing tones | 30-100% |
| Call Volume | Voice audio from active calls | 30-100% |
| Override Volume | Override alert sounds | 30-100% |
The minimum volume is 30% to ensure you don't miss important calls or alerts. You cannot mute these sounds completely.
