Settings
Open settings from the gear icon in the control panel at the bottom of the expanded window. Changes save automatically.
Audio Devices
Microphone
Pick which microphone Landline should use. Click Test Mic to watch the level meter respond to your voice — aim for green/yellow peaks. Click Stop Test when done.
Alert Output
Device used for incoming rings, override tones, and monitor tones. Usually your external speakers so you can hear alerts even when wearing a headset.
Call Output
Device used for voice from active calls. Usually your headset. Splitting alerts from call audio keeps coordination traffic clear.
Volumes
All volumes range from 30% to 100%. The 30% minimum is intentional — you shouldn't be able to silence important alerts.
| Slider | Controls | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Ring | Incoming ring tone and dialing tone. | 80% |
| Call | Voice from active calls. | 100% |
| Override | Override tone, played on both sides. | 100% |
Display & Docking
Display
If you have multiple monitors connected, a Display dropdown appears. Pick which monitor the docked window should live on.
Dock Position
Choose one of six positions (top/bottom × left/center/right). Clicking a position snaps the window there immediately.
Reset to Dock
If you've dragged the window off its dock (free-floating), a yellow "Free" indicator appears. Click the reset-to-dock button (or any dock position) to snap it back.
Facility
A facility dropdown lets you switch which facility you'll connect to on next login.
Changing your facility selection only takes effect after you log out and back in.
